Dermoscopy of Psoriasis: A Cross Sectional Study

Introduction: Dermoscopy is a non-invasive tool that aids in the diagnosis of dermatological diseases. Objectives: The study aims to evaluate dermoscopic features psoriasis skin. Materials and Methods: All patients clinically diagnosed with were enrolled study. Dermoscopic findings studied using handheld pocket dermoscope (Dermlite DL1) high magnification. examination used both polarizing non-polarizing lenses. Results: age ranged from 12 years 58 years, mean presentation was 30 (+/-12.7 years). There 52% females 48% males. In dermoscopy, vascular changes seen 90%. Vessel arrangement as uniform 80% cases non-uniform 20%. Dotted vessels 88%, glomerular comma-shaped 2%. 94%, white scales seen, followed by yellow 2% mixed types 4%. background color red 68% cases, pink 26%, brownish 6%. Pigmentary observed 16%. Follicular Conclusion: present analyzed characteristic psoriasis. Further studies should be conducted, including inflammatory disorders their correlation features.
